Following the successful album “INSPIRATION”, MAX IONATA has just started on his new project featuring MANNUTZA’s groovy modal organ and TUCCI’s contemporary Latin/Soul/Jazz/Funk based beats. Meeting again with fabulous trumpeter FABRIZIO BOSSO, these finest 4 formed the Diarchal Trumpet-Tenor Quartet, that may remind us of those legendary modal organ quartets in the mid 60’s. There’s no revival here though, just a good bunch of fresh, energetic Italian Neo-Hardbop sounds.
